Reabold Tennis Club is privileged to have former CEO of both Sport Integrity Australia and the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA), David Sharpe, as the guest speaker at a dinner to be held at the club on Friday 5^th June 2026.

Prior to these appointments, David was an Assistant Commissioner with the Australian Federal Police.  He has also had extensive experience in rugby league, as a player, coach and administrator. David was awarded an APM for his services to the Federal Police and OAM for his commitment to rugby league and the community. Since late 2025 David has been the General Manager-Football of the new Perth based NRL franchise, the Perth Bears.

David has been at the forefront of the fight against drugs in sport and will provide numerous insights into Australia’s efforts to stop “drug cheats” on sport.  No doubt he will also share some stories from his days in law enforcement and of the challenges of setting up an NRL franchise in an AFL heartland. Get a group together for an informative evening at the club’s major fundraising event for 2026.
